A bunch of coffee shop drawings from my travels around Japan. All really incredible cafes, with great coffee!! The last was a sketch of Brioche I made for Reissue cafe that a super talented barista recreated.
Drew this autumnal fella for my pals Derek and Heather, who keep a lovely herd of goats and make all kinds of CBD-infused things. The design is based on their goat, Button, who was born with a cleft palate and a severe heart murmur. By all rights Button shouldn’t have lived more than a few months, but Derek and Heather are big-hearted miracle humans. They took such extravagantly good care of him and eventually ended up connecting with a veterinary surgical team who performed a surgery to take some pressure off his heart. (Pretty sure this was a big deal because they’d only ever done the surgery on horses before and weren’t really sure it would work on a smol goat??)
Anyway he’s alive and thriving and the cutest little dude on four legs.

“These ones have such darling little sheep on them, the wool was from my own flock, can’t forget the little cow too. It’s so soft to touch and keeps the tea so lovely and warm.”
